These are the Terms and Conditions that will apply to your booking our retreat. Please read them carefully.
BOOKING TRIPS & THE CONTRACT
A booking is accepted and becomes definite only after registration has been completed the deposit payment made. In order for our retreats to take place we require a minimum of 16 participants. Please note that we only offer retreat and related activities to woman 25 years of age and over.
DEPOSITS
For retreats and dates, a non-refundable deposit per person is required to complete your booking. A second non-refundable installment is due by February 1, 2025. Final non-refundable payment will is due April 1, 2025. Please note deposits made on all bookings are non-refundable and non-creditable due to the requirement to purchase non-refundable and non-transferable essentials including but not limited to; accommodation reservations etc on your behalf to secure your spot on the retreat. Deposit payments can be transferred to another person. Deposits are paid via PayPal or e-transfer.
PRICING
All retreat prices shown are per person and are quoted and payable in CAD. Not included in the price of your travel arrangement is transportation to the retreat destination.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS & SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The Client must inform us on our registration form of any medical conditions, disability or any other mental and or physical condition which may affect your stay. Accomodations may be unsuitable for clients due to mobility, disability, or physical conditions, please email me at ellecee@prettylittlebookworm.ca if you have concerns. We will do our best to meet special requests including dietary or physical limitations but such requests may not always be possible depending on the retreat, in which case we reserve the right to refuse Clients with certain conditions.
NO LIABILITY FOR POSSESSIONS
It is your responsibility to ensure that your possessions are kept safe at all times.
MEDIA
We reserve the right to take any photos/recordings of the group retreat participants during your stay during group activities and in public areas, & you accept that all rights whatsoever arising in the photos and recordings shall be solely owned by us and maybe used on the website. The client accepts & agrees that any photos/recordings may be used at our discretion on out web site, for promotional material & advertisements. If you do not agree to this, kindly notify us before the start of your retreat.
SMOKING / ALCOHOL
Properly disposal of butts and smoking is only prohibited in designated areas. Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted and at your own risk.
DAMAGE
There is no tolerance to defacing the property or buildings. Guests will be required to pay for damages they cause.
PETS
Sorry, no pets are permitted in any accommodation.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Any indoor / outdoor, recreational, social or experiential activity you engage in on or off of our property is done at your own risk. You assume personal responsibility for your own safety during your stay at the facility. You agree to save harmless and release our employees, suppliers and owners against all actions, proceedings, costs, claims, damages, demands, liabilities and expenses whatsoever (including legal and other fees and disbursements) sustained as a result of your staying at the facility.
PARTICIPANT IS ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL SAFETY, HEALTH, AND MENTAL, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND GENERAL WELL-BEING BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE RETREAT. PARTICIPANT HEREBY RELEASES THE RETREAT, VOLUNTEERS, AND EMPLOYEES OF ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES OR DAMAGES MENTALLY OR PHYSICALLY THAT PARTICIPANT, OR THE PARTICIPANT’S FAMILY MEMBERS, MIGHT SUFFER DURING OR AFTER THE RETREAT.
